As a child, I had the lowest grade in art out of all the subjects but suddenly, in 4th grade, I was praised by an art teacher who recognized my talent. 
The love for art had been inside me, but it didn't come out till then.  I ended up studying Fine art in the USA instead of English as I had told my parents in Japan, they believed I would return home to become an English teacher after graduating.  It never happened.

Having worked in the creative field as a food stylist, photographer, and graphic designer helped create a foundation to build on in my current Art.
